Challenge Coins For The Danimal!

When it comes to celebrating milestones and moments that matter, no detail is too small. Recently, a customer approached us with a heartfelt request; they wanted to create a set of custom challenge coins to honor a special needs man for his birthday. Dan - The Danimal - has a collection of challenge coins from police, firefighters, and a wide variety of other organizations, and this project was an opportunity to create a coin focused on him!

We usually require a minimum order of 100 coins per order, but Dan didn’t need nearly that many coins. However, at All About Challenge Coins, we believe that every story deserves to be told, and every dream deserves to be brought to life! To make sure Dan could celebrate his birthday in style - and add to his challenge coin collection - we decided to offer a below minimum order.

Crafting a WWE-Inspired Challenge Coin

Dan is a big fan of WWE, which is why the coins take a similar shape to a championship belt! We used high polish gold to give the belt a beautiful shine and a sense of prestige. The image on the back is a picture of The Danimal himself! Adding a digital picture like this to a coin is done through a process called offset printing. Each image is printed in a custom shape and size, then pressed and sealed to the backs of the finished coins. An epoxy layer will protect the image from scratching, and the durable brass coins will keep The Danimal’s legacy going for years to come!
